About Me

Hello There!

I'm Kali.

I’m a wife, Jesus-follower, and mamma who loves to dream & scheme and absolutely loves taking pictures!

I live in Oswego, NY with my husband, Brandon, our daughter Karissa, our dog, Oakley, and our cats, Franklin and Pacha.

I started taking pictures in my high school yearbook class and immediately fell in love. I found the challenge of figuring out how to capture the emotion and energy of a room so captivating! I used my graduation money to buy my first camera and spent hours watching tutorials during my freshman year of college.

Ever since then, God has opened up so many doors for me to meet and take pictures for amazing couples and families in so many wonderful phases of life; phases as monumental as wedding days and as sweet and simple as watching babies grow. Each one is so special and such an honor to get to capture! I’m currently based in the Syracuse area and northern New Jersey.

Fun Facts About Me

I have 6 younger brothers
I met my husband when I was 9 years old.
We got married right before my last year of college, and it was my favorite year!
Brownies are by far my favorite dessert, but I’m a sucker for anything sweet!
My mom inspired my love for photography by capturing my childhood so well.

Sometimes when I’m cooking I like listening to Jazz. It makes me feel classy :).

How I'm Spending My Free Time

Going for trail or stroller walks with my hubby, thrift shopping (always!), creative writing, scrolling instagram and pinterest (more than I care to admit), playing minecraft with my brothers, researching baby things, playing volleyball, working on websites (I help with my church’s too and I find it so satisfying!), and learning new recipies (sometimes :).

What I'm Watching

Friends (on repeat), Last Man Standing, the Cosby Show, 1923 (When Brandon makes me), Once Upon a Time, basically any sitcom, and any movie Brandon can find with 0% stress because I’m a total wimp and take on stress vicariously:).

What Gets Me Excited

Entrepeneurs, weddings, baby smiles, getting to be creative, family traditions, saving money, buying new clothes :), planning for the future, seeing my long-distance besties & family, and learning new things!
